N. A. Bourke
N. A. Bourke's first novel, The Bone Flute, won the Qld Premier's Literary award for best emerging author in 2000, and was shortlisted for The Commonwealth Writers best first book award in the Asia-Pacific Region.
She teaches in the creative writing and cultural studies discipline at QUT and lives in Brisbane with her children.
